Our market-data methodology

Gold and silver spot values come from GoldAPI.io (with an automatic fallback source) in euro per troy ounce, converted to grams at 31.1034768 g/oz t. Currency reference rates come from the European Central Bank, supplemented by a daily reference feed for currencies the ECB does not publish. Our server caches every value and refreshes it on a schedule during business hours; each displayed value carries the time it was fetched and a freshness badge: Live (under 10 minutes), Recent (under 1 hour), Delayed (under 4 hours) or Stale. Reference values are informational and are not our commercial prices.
